New job Opportunities

Jobs abound as telecom secter takes a big leap.

The HR Director of a leading Indian operator is a worried man these todays. "The ghost of attrition has come back to haunt us," he says.Talent at his company and others has started taking flight with the telecom sector ringing in new opportunities and creating new jobs.
                Says Kris Lakshmikanth, Founder, CEO & Managing Director, the Head Hunter India: "Thousands of new jobs are being created in telecom, courtesy fresh licenses being given to private operators." The new entrants are trying to setup their operations, expand their reach and coverage- for which service providers are hiring and so are industries catering to them including telecom infrastructure and IT enabled service players.
"The current man power demand it triggered by this need of the operator who outsource their operations. Operator in India looking for partner who can provide end to end IT operations and service management," says Anil Pandey, Vice president and head (Application and software business line) Huawei Technologies India.
Huawei is hiring senior professionals with specialized knowledge in internet protocol, memory data base, operating., Software delivery plateform, system integration managed services, software and services delivery areas.
Plus, telecom doesn't have an HR slack since it was never severely affected even during the downturn. Companies where growing so hiring continued to take place albeit cautiously, With economic sentiment turning positive, hiring has gained momentum.
