Jobs abound as telecom secter takes a big leap.

The HR Director of a leading Indian operator is a worried man these todays. "The ghost of attrition has come back to haunt us," he says.Talent at his company and others has started taking flight with the telecom sector ringing in new opportunities and creating new jobs.
                Says Kris Lakshmikanth, Founder, CEO & Managing Director, the Head Hunter India: "Thousands of new jobs are being created in telecom, courtesy fresh licenses being given to private operators." The new entrants are trying to setup their operations, expand their reach and coverage- for which service providers are hiring and so are industries catering to them including telecom infrastructure and IT enabled service players.
"The current man power demand it triggered by this need of the operator who outsource their operations. Operator in India looking for partner who can provide end to end IT operations and service management," says Anil Pandey, Vice president and head (Application and software business line) Huawei Technologies India.
Huawei is hiring senior professionals with specialized knowledge in internet protocol, memory data base, operating., Software delivery plateform, system integration managed services, software and services delivery areas.
Plus, telecom doesn't have an HR slack since it was never severely affected even during the downturn. Companies where growing so hiring continued to take place albeit cautiously, With economic sentiment turning positive, hiring has gained momentum.

Definition 

This is know also by the name Acute Epidemkic Parotitis. This is an acute, febrile infection, disease characteriesed by inflammatory swelling of one both parotid glands situated behind the jaw, below and in front of the ear.
   The period of incubation is children, but sometimes in adults. It seldom attacks the same person twice. In males the and in females the breasts are occasionally affected.


Cause

The specific organism has yet been positively identified but the virus is a passer and is conveyed by the saliva.
  One side is fist attected and is sicceeded by the other in about 24 hours or a day or two later. Sometime the submaxillary and sublingual glands are also involved. Mumps is almost always bilateral (i.e., comes on both sides).
          It is almost entirely confined to children and young persons between the ages of five and twenty-five. It is rare in the very young and very old. It is often epidemic. A patient remains infectious as long as there is any definite awelling in the glands.
         Death from this disease is very rare. The patient is generally well in 10 or 12 days. It is a trivial disease. The disease is infectious 2 or 3 days before the swelling appears.

                           Symptoms

Pain is felt under one ear with stiffness or soreness of neck and jaw. This is usually accompanied by smart fever 101 F. to 103 F. or 104 F. The fever subsides on the third or fourth days. A swelling often of almost stony hardness is noticed on the cheek and under the ear. This lump is extremely painful. It lasts for 4 or 5 days and gradually disappears. The swelling extends all round the jaw in the form of a caller. it is severely contagious and sometimes runs through a whole family or school. Swallowing and mastication are very painful. The breath is foul and the tongue is very furied. Saliva may trickle out of the mouth. the glands seldom suppurate.

              Treatment


A  simple saline purge (mag sulph or sodium sulphate or citrate of magnesia) hot fomentations and an antiseptic wash for the mouth (Listerine or Glychothymoline or boric lotion) are all that is usually required. Flannel wring, one of hot poppy-head decoction is the best application. Fluid food may be given.
           patients should be kept in bed for ten days until the liability to orchitis or inflammation of the testicles is passed. They should be isolated for three weeks from the subsidence of the swelling.
         Treat complications as they arise.
Diaphrotetics are useful. Application of leeches is beneficial.

    Definition of Hydrophobia

                  This is an acute specific infection usually transmitted of the bite, of a rabit animal. It is due to inoculation by the saliva of an animal suffering form rabies.

                                                   COURSE


                    The rabit dog is the chief transmitter disease by its bite or by licking an abortion. The cat, wolf and fox may also transmit it. The Virus (Negri body) is in the saliva. The incubation period is about six weeks. It dose not follow that every one bitten by a mad dog must suffer form hydrophoboa.

                                                                Symptoms
There is slight irritation in the wound. There are feelings of uneasiness with irritability of temper. Sometimes there is twitching of the muscles of the face. There are stiffness of the neck and difficulty of breathing. There is suffocative spasm when the patient trick to drink water. The spasm extend to the muscles of the whole body.

Wounds on uncovered parts of the most dangerous. Wounds by which the poison was introduced rapidly heals and for a time nothing happens to attract the patient's attention to the scars. In about six to eight week or so, the scar may become painful and nervous disturbance appear.

The patient is sleepless thought the  patient is very thirsty he is afraid to drink as any attempt at swallowing drinks on the spasm at once. Even the sound of running water will excite the attacks hence the name hydrophobia. There is generally fever. The patient dies of exhaustion in to 2 to 10 days after the development of the characteristics symptoms.

                                                                   Treatment


The wounds should be well washed. Caustic (Carbolic acid, silver nitrate ) should be applied to the wound. The patient should be once to the Pasteur Institute, Kasauli or any general hospital for antirabic form of treatment. Any person beaten by rabid animal can be saved if treatment within 7 days it is done after being beaten. The patient get 7 to 14 injection in the abdomen.
